About Us

Urban Outfitters started out as a single boutique in 1970s Philadelphia with creativity and uniqueness at its core. 50 years on, and over 60 stores across Europe later, we’ve become a destination for emerging design, unexpected styling, One-Of-A-Kind vintage and homeware that makes you want to hit the share button.

We speak to a social community of over 10 million forward-thinking individuals, bringing together a nostalgia for the past with an enthusiasm to shape the future. The UO community are culturally aware, they shape the music scene, they live a digitally native life and they wear style trends before anyone else. At our core, we empower our customers and staff to express themselves, unapologetically, living life in a way that's truly authentic to them.

We are always excited to bring new talent into the room, especially if you share our values:

Progressive — we move with the mood
Creative — we champion limitless minds
Inclusive — we open our platforms to all communities
Responsible — we work to reduce our impact on the environment
Compassionate — we care for each other beyond the 9 to 5

Reporting to the Ecommerce Director, you will champion performance marketing within the business, serving as a brand ambassador who balances commercial heavyweight decision-making with creative flair. You will lead a high-performing team and manage external agency partners to diversify the marketing mix, maximize ROI, and foster a vibrant "test and learn" culture that keeps UO at the forefront of the digitally native landscape.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Guide, mentor, and develop the performance marketing team, ensuring they are accountable for their numbers while leading by example through collaboration and respect.

Collaboration & Integration:

Build strong cross-functional relationships, specifically aligning with the CRM team and on-site production teams to optimize acquisition funnels and ensure a seamless, personalized customer journey.

Data-Driven Culture:

Instill a rigorous "test and learn" environment, relying heavily on statistical analysis and performance data to back up all strategic decision-making and roadmap inputs.

Agency Management:

Oversee multiple external agency partners across various EU markets and channels, ensuring they meet KPIs and align with UO’s overarching brand strategy.

What You'll Need

Performance Expertise:

A demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results through advanced audience targeting, segmentation strategies, and an in-depth understanding of platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok.

Commercial Acumen:

You must be commercially astute, data-obsessed, and capable of blending marketing metrics with site funnel data to make fast-paced, high-impact decisions.

The ability to act as a "digital evangelist," raising the profile of performance marketing across the business and influencing senior management through concise, evidence-based communication.
