Role Summary

This role sits in our European URBN shared service function, which supports and works across all business areas for our constantly evolving brands. 

 

As a Finance Assistant you will support Europe Accounting operations by timely processing of invoices, resolving queries from the business and suppliers, and assisting in any necessary month-end tasks. Working with USA Finance team as required.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting Merchandise invoice payment to terms processing.
  • Working with Internal and External stakeholders to resolve Supplier queries.
  • Resolution of Aged Creditor invoice issues.
  • Supporting USA AP & Treasury Team’s on Vendor queries as necessary.
  • Prepayment setup and management.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier statements.
  • Producing weekly multi-currency payment runs and urgent one-off payment files.
  • Posting ADI upload relating to Vendor fines.
  • Other ad hoc duties.

What You'll Need

  • Relevant accounts payable experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience using Oracle or similar ERP package is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient with Excel.
  • Ability to work at pace with high volumes and maintain accuracy.
  • Capable of prioritising workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with ability to pick things up quickly, great use of initiative and eagerness to learn more.
  • Clear communicator, with ability to work with finance and non-finance associates.
  • Support the development of processing to drive continuous improvement in controls, accuracy and efficiency.
