Role Summary

The Senior Project & Production Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects within the Art Department.

 

We're looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects across digital and print mediums. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in digital & graphic design production workflows, vendor management and sustainable material sourcing, with a sharp eye for detail and quality.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Interrogate briefs to ensure clarity and completeness before project initiation.
  • Oversee budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and development teams.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a productive and positive environment.
  • Optimize workflows and enforce quality control across all deliverables.
  • Communicate project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support team development.

 

Production:

  • Manage print production processes including pre-press, proofing, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure accuracy in final printed materials, including color, text, and graphics.
  • Maintain production records and oversee delivery logistics.
  • Oversee pre-production planning, including file preparation and proofing.
  • Coordinate production schedules, including print runs, finishing, and delivery.
  • Monitor product quality and provide feedback to production team.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating costs and ensuring quality of materials.
  • Stay informed about production materials, especially sustainable solutions.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of design and production processes in both digital and print.
  • Expertise in printing, paper, materials, and sustainable production practices.
  • Ability to optimize workflows and enforce quality assurance.
  • Experience in resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and ethical decision-making.
  • Familiarity with vendor negotiation and production timelines.
  • Knowledge of sustainable materials and environmentally conscious production.
