Anthropologie UK is seeking a creative and dynamic PR and Events Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the PR & Events team in promoting Anthropologie to the public through securing media coverage across digital publications. This role involves assisting in the execution of PR campaigns, events, collaborations to enhance the brand’s visibility and engagement in the EU market.
PR support:
• Manage press sample requests, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of all samples sent out.
• Monitor and manage media coverage, tracking press mentions and preparing coverage reports.
• Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers, and key media contacts.
• Support the PR team in creating and pitching stories to media outlets, ensuring consistent and positive brand messaging.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Responding to imagery requests.
• Working with the buying and studio teams to keep the image bank up to date, to ensure the team have up to date flat shots to pitch.
• Keeping press contacts up to date and engage with a wide range of contacts, from media professionals to event partners, fostering strong, long-lasting connections that benefit the brand.
Events support:
• Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events, press days, and brand activations.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, vendor management, and scheduling.
• Support the creation of event concepts that align with the brand’s campaigns
• Liaise with external partners, including PR agencies, event organizers, and suppliers.
• Attend events as a brand representative, ensuring smooth operations and fostering positive attendee experiences.
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for the Anthropologie brand.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva) and familiarity with PR tools and platforms.
• Be a positive, social and outgoing individual who enjoys building and nurturing new relationships.
