Role Summary

We are looking for an organised External Business Merchandising Admin Assistant to join our team at Urban Outfitters, based in our London head office in Brick Lane.

 

This is the perfect position for someone looking to kick start their career and will be the key administrative support for the buying and merchandising teams relating to new business channels.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support with implementing new reports and processes for new channels
  • Track and report sales vs forecast and budget
  • Provide the franchise partner with weekly reports to trade the franchise stores
  • Review data accuracy between franchise and UO reports
  • Communicate season code changes and price changes at key points of the year
  • Approve markdown lists in line with franchise partner timing ensuring alignment with the EU business where possible
  • Be an active part of new store opening programs, supporting branch merchandising and the franchise partner with reports and shipment visibility
  • Review allocations vs planned IAQ’s, option plans, and dispatch plan
  • Be the owner of market restrictions and exclusions related to both regulatory and vendor requirements
  • Support with replenishment allocations when necessary
  • Prepare and collate product packs from the UO teams for the partner
  • Provide training and support to the buying and merchandising teams when needed
  • Anticipate and identify issues that may prevent meeting deadlines or cause inefficiencies

What You'll Need

  • Experience working in fashion retail, buying or merchandising is preferred
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with and support multiple teams and audiences whilst also having a strong initiative to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of quality and efficiency
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office – Excel in particular
