Shop 146 is an on-site café for Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie & Free People – we serve breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday to around 300 staff members.

The Barista/FOH all rounder is the face of Shop 146. You will be responsible for serving all food & drink products with friendly and individualized attention towards each customer, upholding the service standards of URBN Food & Beverage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who wants to work Monday-Friday, so you can enjoy your evenings and weekends!

SHIFT PATTERN: Full time – 37.5hrs, Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 3.30pm 

START DATE: December 2024

• Ensuring opening and closing procedures are adhered to
• Ensuring correct setup of the café
• Providing top quality espresso coffee & hot drinks
• Preparing food items by adhering to all presentation standards
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
• Help to prepare and set up catering for meetings
• Comply with food and hygiene procedures and health and safety regulations
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow staff members
• Deputise for the General Manager when they are away

• Experience as a Barista 

• Excellent coffee knowledge, including how to dial in the coffee machine
• Experience in basic food prep and service
• Confident working unsupervised
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Positive and friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
